You cannot grab any cleaner off a shelf and expect a good result. Different rugs need different treatment.

• Safe cleaning solutions. Products that are safe for everything from Persian and kilim rugs to synthetics. The wrong chemical causes damage; the right one keeps the colours bright and the fibres intact.
• No optical brighteners. Many store-bought cleaners contain optical brighteners that yellow a rug over time. We use products that leave no residue behind.

Equipment that gets the dust out

• Proper dusting. A full vacuum, a dust shake-out and a scrub go well beyond what a household vacuum removes.
• A real drying setup. We have dedicated drying space, so a rug dries fully, quickly and safely instead of sitting damp over a washing line.

Doing it yourself means wrestling with fans, hoping for good weather and hoping you used the right products. We collect the rug, clean it at our place and bring it back.
